Overview

The course will familiarise educators and school staff with best practices relating to the protection and safeguarding of learners. Participants will learn about child protection legislation in the UAE and develop their knowledge about different types of abuse, the signs and symptoms of abuse, and appropriate actions to be taken to protect learners.

Completing this course will help you:

  1. Know about different types of child abuse and the effects of abuse on learners
  2. Understand the importance of child protection and safeguarding learners in the learning environment
  3. Understand the importance of child protection and safeguarding policies
  4. Know how to manage child protection and safeguarding concerns

Lectures:

1-The learner who completes the training program receives a certificate of “Completion of the Training Program” from Siraj Al Maerafa Professional Training (Sam Education) free.

2-A certificate of “completion of the training program” attested by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) can be obtained for an additional fee.
